Gospel Kids desires to teach the Bible, share life with others as we grow together, and equip children for their future Christian lives.
We offer children six weeks through fifth grade a safe and loving environment to learn about God’s word on Sunday morning. We partner with parents to continue that learning throughout the week so God’s love multiplies and grows in the home.
Gospel Kids has four great programs for your children depending on their age; Nursery, Toddlers, Preschool, and Elementary.
Our children’s services are fully staffed with adults who are committed to teaching and ministering to children. You can be confident that your child is being well-cared for and having a great time learning about God.
PROGRAMS
Gospel Kids is comprised of four programs; each designed to meet children’s needs by their age level.
- Nursery: 0-18 months
- Toddlers: 18 months – 2 years
- Preschool: 3 years- 5 years
- Elementary: Kindergarten -5th grade
CHECK IN/ SAFETY
Check in for Gospel Kids opens at 10:00am. At this time the Nursery, Toddler Room, and Preschool Room are also open for drop off. The Elementary room opens after kid’s dismissal from the main service, which is after worship. We encourage all families to worship together, but you are welcome to drop off your littlest family members at 10:00.
Safety is a top priority. When you check in, your child will be given a nametag with a number and you will be given a tag with the corresponding number. Only you may check out your child.
Every volunteer who works with kids and students at GCC has passed an extensive background check.
Our security team patrols the grounds during all events.
A supervisor is always on hand to handle any needs that may arise.
FIFTH SUNDAYS
Gospel Kids desires to see children grow in their faith and their walk with the Lord. Each program; Nursery, Toddlers, Preschool, and Elementary advances them in their knowledge of the Lord. They also need to be ready to sit under the teaching in leadership of our pastors and elders.
Every time a month has a fifth Sunday occur, the oldest in our Elementary program; third, fourth, and fifth graders are given the chance to serve alongside the rest of our congregation. You will see them cleaning windows, checking sound, opening doors, pouring coffee, and checking in younger children. They then sit in the main service with their parents.
On fifth Sundays all of our children perform a worship song in the main service. The rising kindergartners also join our Elementary program for the morning so they can get a preview of what’s next for them and get excited.
GOSPEL PROJECT
At Gospel Community Church we use amazing curriculum called the Gospel Project. The Gospel Project takes kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. Kids come to understand that the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story- God’s story of redemption.
All of our Gospel Kids; Nursery, Toddlers, Preschool, and Elementary are filled with music, activities, videos, and bible lessons from the Gospel on their level every week.
